Anodization or anodic oxidation, anodic oxidation is an electrochemical process of obtaining an oxide coating on the surface of an aluminum profile. This coating gives the aluminum profile the following properties: high corrosion protection, decorative surface, increased wear resistance, suitable for food storage, suitable for further processing, environmentally friendly - these are just a few of the advantages of this surface. The areas of application of anodized aluminum profiles are varied: architecture, construction, automotive industry, etc.

Global Extrusion Ukraine offers its customers a full range of services related to anodizing, and produces aluminum profiles in the following colors and shades: silver, champagne, bronze, gold, black.
Depending on the conditions of subsequent operation of the profiles, their coating may have different thicknesses of the oxide layer:
- 10 microns (µm) - for indoor spaces.
- 15 microns – for closed rooms with a damp, unstable environment.
- 20 microns – for wet rooms and for outdoor use.
- 25 microns – for rooms with particularly aggressive environments.

We can also offer a new anodized surface, which gives aluminum the effect of stainless steel, which is especially in high demand in architecture. But in other areas (for example, furniture) stainless steel is used more often. Aluminum with a stainless steel effect has many advantages - almost any profile can be subjected to this treatment, it is cheaper and there are no problems with fingerprints.
